Sunil Bansal, who headed the dairy business of Yoga master Ramdev's Patanjali Ayurved, kicked the bucket a week ago because of Covid-related difficulties. Matured 57, he kicked the bucket on 19 May in the wake of experiencing "severe lung damage and brain discharge" because of Covid-19 and related confusions, ThePrint gained from his partners.
Bansal, an expert in dairy sciences, assumed responsibility for Patanjali's dairy business in 2018 when the organization reported its arrangements to sell bundled cow milk and other milk-based items, including curd, buttermilk, and cheddar.
"He was on ECMO for the last few days," a friend and former boss said.
"I attended his virtual condolences. While conveying condolences, Ram Bharat ji (younger brother of Baba Ramdev) from Patanjali mentioned that Babaji tried his best and was talking to (his) attending doctors regularly," a former colleague said.
"Sunil was a devotee of Lord Krishna and the entire industry has utmost respect and admiration for him."
