Srinagar: After the recent massacre and the killing of the migrant workers, the J&K Police have coined the term “hybrid”, after looking into the matter. The Jammu and Kashmir police have said that a “Hybrid” type of terrorist, was shot down and killed by the security forces. The incident took place during a retaliatory firing at the Baramulla district that is about 50 KMS away from Srinagar. The gun-shortened terrorist has been further identified as Javid Ahmad Wani, who is a resident of Kulgam, which is located in South Kashmir. After he was gunned down, police said in a statement that,
“He was "on a mission to target a shopkeeper" in Baramulla in north Kashmir, adding that the terrorist was an associate of a killed terrorist Gulzar who was involved in the killing of two civilians from Bihar earlier this month. After looking into his belongings the police found that he was having a pistol, a loaded magazine and also a grenade.
The police further went on to say that, “Killed terrorist is a hybrid type, identified as Javed Ah Wani of Kulgam district and he has assisted terrorist Gulzar (who was killed on 20th Oct) in the killing of two laborers from Bihar in Wanpoh. He was on a mission to target one shopkeeper in Baramulla.” The Jammu and Kashmir police zone authority even published in the social media site, regarding the killing of the “hybrid”, type of terrorist.
In the past three weeks, about 18 local terrorists have been killed, police said in a statement. On 17th October, two laborers belonging from Bihar were shot dead by the terrorists in the Kulgam district, and before that, another 9 were killed and shot down by the terrorists. The number of the targeted civilians has thus reached 11. This attack was the third attack, upon the non-local laborers within less than 24 hours.
