According to Wipro's 20-F filing, CEO Thierry Delaporte earned $8.7 million (about Rs 64.3 crore) in the fiscal year 2020-21. On July 6, Abidali Neemuchwala, a former Capgemini executive, was appointed as Wipro's chief executive officer and managing director in Bengaluru.
Delaporte's pay will be paid from July 6, 2020, to March 31, 2021, and will include a one-time cash reward, an annual stock grant, and a one-time RSU grant (restricted stock units).
In addition to salaries and allowances (about 9.6 crores), Delaporte got around $1,31 million, commissions, variable compensation, and other parts, $5,18 million. By the reporting period, he got $758,719 in long-term compensation (delayed benefit).
The paper shows the entire remuneration obtained in 2021 by President Rishad Premji of Wipro, whereas in 2021, Jatin Pravinchandra Dalal earned $1.01 million.
For the period from April 1, 2020, to June 1, 2020, Neemuchwala, who resigned as Chief Executive Officer and MD on June 1, 2020, was awarded $305,845 pay.
