Three dead in a fire in a private hospital in Thane.
A fire broke out at the prime Criticare Hospital at Kosa in Mumbra locality near Thane at 3:40 AM. This causality caused the death of three patients in the hospital amid this tough time. The official said that there is no Corona patient in the hospital, and three fire engines and five ambulances were immediately brought to the spot to extinguish the blaze. Twenty patients encapsulating six in the intensive care unit whatever created and are safe, he said.
The local MLA and Maharashtra minister Jitendra Awhad said that the hospital's first floor was destroyed, and three patients were roasted alive in the fire. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray was informed of the tragedy, and the family of each deceased will be given a compensation of Rs.5,00,000. Those who got injured will be compensated with Rs.1,00,00, he added.
The chief minister assured that a high-level inquiry committee had been constituted to go into the case and analyze it in depth to know the real reason for the casualty.
