Till now, there are many districts which are deprived of proper and regular vaccination process. Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, held an important and obvious meeting with vaccine deprived district officials and asked for the report of those regions.
He also saluted the hard work and sacrifice made by the health officers, nurses and all medical departments. In an official statement, he said,'The progress made so far is due to your hard work. Every member of the administration, ASHA workers took the extra liberty to achieve this milestone. Everyone walked for miles and took the vaccination program to remote areas.' But, now, he also warns everyone of the current scenario. India might have portrayed her landmark in front of the World, still it is not over yet. The Prime Minister now rewards his hard working team,'But if we come lax after one billion doses,a new crisis can come.'
He also added,'They say one must not underestimate disease and enemies. They have to be fought against till the very end. So, I would like that we should not bring even a slight laxity.' Severance Chief Ministers attended the meeting. The meeting focused on discussing the current situation of all districts where 50% percent of the vaccination was not completed yet. According to some political experts,' The celebration of one billion doses was just to gain by poll votes in Bengal.' With some mathematical equations in hand, some also claimed it to be fake.
