Traffic alert - Kisan Delhi-Meerut Expressway will be closed today, know where is the diversion

Delhi Meerut Expressway and NH 9 will remain closed as part of Bharat Band organized by farmers today.  Due to this, drivers going from Delhi to Ghaziabad, Meerut and Moradabad may face problems. Traffic police have issued a diversion related to this, drivers should leave the house after seeing the diversion.Both Delhi-Meerut Expressway and NH 9 will remain closed as part of the Bharat Bandh organized by farmers today for the withdrawal of new agricultural laws. 

Bhartiya Kisan Union will stop the movement by putting barricades on the highway at 6 am.  Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait himself will be present here. According to the traffic police, drivers going from Delhi to Ghaziabad, Meerut and Moradabad should use other routes.  Traffic Police has issued a diversion related to this.Ghaziabad Traffic Police is also on alert after farmers call for Bharat Bandh.  According to the instructions received by the traffic police, additional traffic police have been deployed at all the borders connected with Delhi Ghaziabad to deal with any kind of problem other than the traffic problem. 

Traffic Inspector BP Gupta said that special instructions have been given to be alert between 6 am to 4 pm.  Apart from this, additional traffic police have also been deployed on all routes leading to Sahibabad railway station.SP Trans Hindon Gyanendra Singh said that keeping in mind the security arrangements, additional police forces have been deployed at Ghazipur border as well as on other borders. The farmers have already closed the Delhi Meerut Expressway and NH 9 going towards Delhi, the road coming from Delhi has also been closed under the Bharat Bandh. 

That's why people should not use this route between 6 in the morning and 4 in the evening.  He said that traffic on all other borders will continue to operate as usual.  However, due to the closure of Delhi-Meerut Expressway and NH 9, the traffic pressure is set to fall on other borders, apart from being the first day of the week, the traffic will also be more. Therefore, the drivers should leave the house only after taking some extra time.Diversion point, Dasna Peripheral:

There will be no traffic on the peripheral from Hapur and Ghaziabad.  This traffic will be able to go to its destination via Dasna / Noida. - Traffic coming from Noida will be able to get down towards Ghaziabad and go to its destination via NH 9, Delhi Meerut Expressway. Traffic will not come from Duhai side towards Peripheral Dasna  This traffic will be able to go to its destination via ALT intersection, Meerut Tiraha Noida.Diversion Point, Hapur Octroi/CBI Academy: All traffic coming from Old Bus Stand side will be able to get off RDC Flyover and turn left via RDC,

Hint Chauraha Alt Centre, Electricity House, NDRF towards Hapur.-Hapur, Govindpuram  Traffic coming from Bamheta side (small vehicles) will be able to turn left from Indian Oil Petrol Pump and Aayakar Bhawan towards Shastrinagar Ramlila Maidan, Purana Bus Adda. Traffic coming from Bamheta side, Diamond Tiraha towards Lalkuan  A diversion will be given, which will be able to go towards the city via Nehrunagar. - All the traffic coming from the side of Rajnagar extension intersection will be able to go to its destination from the power house via Aayakar Bhawan Kamla Nehru Road.
