On Tuesday ( 08th June 2021), The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to allow some relaxations in the Covid-19 curfew.
The total active cases in the state mark below 600 in all the 75 districts of the state.
An official state government spokesperson asserted that " there will be relaxations in corona virus curfew in all the district's of the state from Wednesday (09th June 2021) onwards, from 7am to 7pm, for five days as the COVID-19 cases have come below 600."
He added that the night curfew from 7 am to 7 pm will be followed along with a full day weekend curfew.
Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister Uttar Pradesh, decided to give relaxation in a high-level meeting convoked via virtual meeting on Tuesday.
The spokesperson added that in the view of falling COVID-19 cases rate, a standard of 600 active cases was set for having coronavirus curfew effective in the districts.
The state has only 14,000 active cases now. In the span of 24 hours, just 797 cases were logged in.
2.85 lakh Covid tests were done on Monday.
The recovery rate of the state has reached upto 97.9 per cent, while the positivity rate is 0.2 per cent.
