Presentation of World’s third largest cricket stadium in jaipur
The new stadium will be the third-largest cricket stadium in the world. The first two places were taken by Narendra Modi stadium with 132,000 spectators and Melbourne Cricket stadium with 100,024 spectators respectively.
Rajasthan cricket academy said that it will construct the world’s third-largest cricket stadium with a capacity of 75000 audiences. And the estimated cost is ₹300 crores.
Rajasthan cricket association president, Vaibhav Gehlot said that the stadium construction work on Jaipur- Delhi highway in chomp village will be completed in two and half years by RCA.
Vaibhav Gehlot said that it will be the third-largest cricket stadium after Narendra Modi stadium and Melbourne cricket stadium. The stadium will be constructed in three phases. In the first phase, 40000 spectators capacity will be built with two practice grounds, 11 cricket pitches, one cricket academy, hostel, parking facility, sports club, gym and hotel.
It will take five years for the construction of two phases, said Gaurav Goyal, commissioner of Jaipur Development Authority.
