Police had arrested YouTuber, Gaurav Sharma for allegedly filming in the restricted site of Vrindavan, UP, Nidhivan Raj during the night. The holy place where Radha and Lord Krishna plays 'raas lila' during the night, banned from entrance since a week ago.
The owner of Gauravzone YouTube channel was arrested from his Dekhi residence yesterday. Gaurav Sharma is charged with judicial custody, while his co-workers for the shoot are still being hunted and tried to track down.
During the interrogation, Sharma admits to have shooted on the night of November 6 along with his cousin, Prashant and his friends, Mohit and Abhishek. Gaurav Sharma uploaded the video on November 9. But soon he had to pull it down, after repeated protests from priests to promote indignity in the name of entertainment. They have alleged Sharma to have hurt their religious sentiments for shooting at such a 'holy place'.
A case under 295A of the IPC and section 66 of the IT Act was registered by the Vrindavan police after the complaint from Rohit Goswami, a priest of Nidhivan Raj. Gaurav was earlier arrested for floating his fog in air, after tying them to balloons in May this year. After release, the YouTuber had deleted the videos and apologised for his misconduct.
