During Apple's annual launch event on Tuesday, the iPhone 13 series, the company's next generation of handsets, was announced. During the Apple Event 2021, the Cupertino tech giant unveiled the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The iPhone 13 family's larger members are the first Apple phones to feature a 120Hz high-refresh rate screen.The Apple A15 chipset, which offers a significant performance improvement, is the most significant upgrade beneath the hood.
The new CPU in the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max promises 50% greater graphics performance than any contemporary smartphone, according to Apple. Apple has also announced 1TB variants of the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max with this generation.In terms of battery life, the iPhone 13 Pro will last 1.5 hours longer than the iPhone 12 Pro, while the iPhone 13 Pro Max will last 2.5 hours longer than the iPhone 12 Pro Max.The screen is a Super Retina XDR display with a brightness of 1,000 nits.
The screen's ProMotion function allows for a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120Hz. This improves the app's usability and gameplay. For the Pro and Pro Max models, it comes in 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch sizes.The cameras on the new iPhone Pro phones have largely remained same from last year, with some improvements. The telephoto, ultra wide, and wide sensors make up the triple camera set.Macro photography is available on the devices thanks to the camera setup.
Night mode is now available for all three sensors.Photographic Styles will automatically modify camera settings to personalise camera profiles, according to Apple. On the video front, the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone Pro Max cameras support Dolby Vision HDR for high-quality results.Later this year, ProRes video with improved colour quality and encoding efficiency will be available on devices. It will allow the Pro devices to provide end-to-end workflow.Apple's iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will come in four additional colour options, as well as metal side bands. The phones have a ceramic plate on the front for screen protection and an IP68 rating.
The 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB editions of the Apple iPhone 13 Pro will cost $119,900, $129,900, $149,900, and $169,900, respectively. The 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB editions of the iPhone 13 Pro Max will cost $129,900, $139,900, $159,900, and $179,900, respectively.The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will be available for pre-order starting September 17 and will be released on September 24.
