There are many success stories you must have across in your life to get yourself motivated to know which path to follow. Before everything, before knowing what and how others define their success stories you have to discover what is the face of your success? Success has a diverse definition that varies from one to the other. Success is living up to your own expectations. In other words, success is living your dreams. Now you have to know what your ‘dreams’ are. Success stories are only to encourage you, to put you up, to help you keep going despite hard times. Failures don't define success; they are a step forward towards success.

Albert Einstein is a living example of how failures can be your staircase to success. Einstein didn’t speak till 3 years of age and it took him 9 years to speak fluently. His teachers said he would do nothing in his life. People considered him to be a retard. His education was interrupted due to his father’s bankruptcy. He faced difficulties at every turn of his life. His thesis was rejected. He failed to get any recommendations. He failed many entrances. He had one regret in life that his father died thinking he was a failure but he didn't decide to give up. He after getting a steady job as a clerk kept working on his research. He even published several books that are still today considered to be a huge revolution in physics. In 1921, Einstein won the Nobel prize in physics, ridiculing everyone whoever denied to accept Einstein’s intelligence.

The Harry Potter author. We all know about her successful life but the life she left behind, the life she fought through is unknown. Rowling at a very early age had dreams of being a writer. 4years after her graduation, 1990, while on a train journey to London she plots a story in mind. She also starts developing the story followed by her mother’s death which puts a halt to her writing. Then she moved to a different country to teach English as a foreign language and got married to a man there. That marriage didn’t work, she was already a mother to an infant girl and filed a divorce in a year. Poverty-stricken, jobless she then moved to Scotland with three chapters done. She, despite all situations, did go through delay but didn’t decide to give up. After seven years she finished her work. Now was her real struggle. She got rejected by 12 publishers. At last, a small publisher agreed to publish her book but only 1000 copies. After that, the story is known to all. Awards and prizes kept knocking at her door. She is the first author to become a billionaire.

He was born in a middle-class family, wanted to be in the IITs, cleared the entrance but couldn’t get in because his father couldn’t afford the fees. He then took admission to a local engineering college. After graduating he went into an IIT to pursue his master's degree in IT.

In those years he found it hard to figure out his life. But his love for computers and programming brought him here. Traf-O-data, a company that he co-owned, was a huge failure. He didn’t give up. He used his skill and passion to build Microsoft with his friends and today he is a big success.

He created cartoon characters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, etc. Till today, the Disney Studio never fails to entertain us, from ‘Alice to ‘snow white’, ‘rapunzel’ to ‘cindrella’ to ‘Frozen’ we all have our memories tied with all these. He made all fairy tales alive.
Walt Disney was a dropout from school because he wanted to join the army at a very young age, but failed. This hampered his higher education. His Laugh-O-Gram Studios went bankrupt and he was under heavy debt for a long time. He also got fired from Missouri Newspaper for “not being creative enough”.

After 14 years, he started with a shop that tested thyroid. today he owns a company, Thyrocare, and is a 64% stakeholder in the company which makes him worth some 2000 crore pounds. Yet he doesn’t own a car and lives in a small quarter above his lab.

Vincent Van Gogh, a very famous renowned artist, gave up his life at 37. He could sell only one painting in his lifetime. Depressed, mentally broken he decided to commit suicide. It's only after his death that his painting became a sensation.

He introduced this copywriting mechanism. “We make up horrors to help us cope with real ones” were his words. Today he is a master success.
